New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints are in the thick of things even though they have had some key injuries to this point. The New Orleans Saints have had to do without Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas, Tracy Porter, Jabari Greer and Darren Sharper just to name a few.
Despite all of these and other injuries the New Orleans Saints are only ½ a game behind conference leaders Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants with a record of 6-3 going into the bye week. The New Orleans Saints are on a two game winning streak and right on the heels of the division leading Atlanta Falcons.
The New Orleans Saints are preparing to face Reggie Bush’s old coach, Pete Carroll and his new team the Seattle Seahawks. Reggie Bush is working hard to be able to play at full strength when the New Orleans Saints face the Seahawks.
The New Orleans Saints are also hoping to get leading rusher Pierre Thomas back in time for the Seahawks game also. Thomas has missed six games with an ankle injury.
After getting off to a 4-3 start, the New Orleans Saints seem to be getting into gear in time for the key months of November and December. This is when championship teams step up. The New Orleans Saints are climbing in the stats. They are 7th in total offense in the NFL with a 369.9 yard per game average and 14th in scoring. The defense is also been impressive. The New Orleans Saints defense is only allowing 277 yards per game which ranks them 3rd in the NFL. This, like the offense, is despite key injuries.
