    Wow. The “Pride of Jacksonville, Florida” still sounded good in 1989, and according to other posts – still sounds good. I saw GUSB at a local concert in North Miami, Florida in 1963 (the North Miami Armory). He had a great show – unfortunately marred by some fistfights amongst some of the testosterone-laden 16 year olds present. Ah youth!

    Saw Gary last night with Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings and they were terrific – Bonds was in great voice, Albert Lee was great on guitar; Georgie Fame on top form – and the Rhythm Kings sporting two saxes were also terrific.
