Selena and Bert visited New Orleans in 2004. During their Honeymoon they played with the Storyville Stompers at Halloween. Playing Bourbon Street Parade actually in Bourbon Street during a Parade was one great thrill for lovers of classic jazz. Bourbon Street is where things happen in New Orleans. Here it is repeated in the Netherlands with Ray Vanderhooft singing.

I REALLY like this …
I REALLY like this version of Bourbon Street! I play piano in a jazz band over here in the US and we are doing this song, but I’ve always despised it because it was a “street parade” and a very different style of improvising then what I’m used to. I’m also not that crazy about the key of Ab… But you guys do a really good job on this, I love it! It’s very clean and professional.
Great music, great …
Great music, great band, great umbrella! Glad it was sunny for your jazz parade.
Yes, you are right. …
Yes, you are right. Strangely enough almost all bands in our country play it in F. As bass sax specialist I in fact love everything in Ab. We sometimes modulate the last ckorus to Ab.Not this time since we had 3 people helping out on this gig.
Thanks for watching,
Bert Brandsma

The Audubon Nature Institute operates the New Orleans Audubon Zoo, which is found at Audubon Park. In one exhibit there are even white alligators, which are pretty rare and something many have never seen! Youngsters and adults of every age actually like watching the animal shows with sea lions or the feeding times of the giraffes, Komodo dragons, alligators, and such like.
I might give it 4 stars out of five. I was concerned to taste what I assumed would be best of the trip so I ordered a bowl during our waiter’s first trip to the table.
They're used to catering for the party crowd. There are numerous engaging buildings along the route. New Orleans has truly done a fine job of catering for the party going traveler.
Just as every piece of the puzzle was brought together, first came coach Sean Payton, then Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and the rest of this great group of players who gave of themselves off and on the field to breath life into the Town of New Orleans. We are back, and plan to stay on top of the charts for some considerable time to come, ‘The New Orleans Saints.’.
