Event celebrates 10th annual R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl with VIP prize package
WHO: PlayNOLA, Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
WHAT: A one day, double elimination male and co-ed flag football tournament. All participants in the tournament are guaranteed two games and will automatically receive a ticket to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and a R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl t-shirt. Each member of the winning teams will receive VIP tickets to the 10th annual R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Pre Game party that includes food and drink prior to the game on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 8PM in the Louisiana Superdome!

In partnership with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the New Orleans Bowl, PlayNOLA’s flag football tournament offers young New Orleanians a healthy dose of competition and the chance to win fabulous prizes including a prize package for the 10th annual New Orleans Bowl Game, an annual football game featuring teams from the Sun Belt Conference and Conference USA.
PlayNOLA is the premiere sports and social club in New Orleans and the metro region. With more than 2,500 members, it is the fastest growing organizer of social events, local social networking and coed recreational sports leagues for adults including, but not limited to flag football, softball, kickball, dodge ball and basketball. Established in 2009 through the Idea Village/504ward challenge to create a business that serves and retains young professionals, PlayNOLA aims to provide active individuals in New Orleans with fun athletic and social event options to meet, greet and compete after work and on the weekends.
Organized in August 1988, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation (GNOSF) is a non-profit 501(c) (4) organization whose mission is to attract and manage sporting events that have a positive economic impact on the Greater New Orleans area. Since 1988, the GNOSF has turned a $25 Million investment, from public and private sources, into a $1 Billion Economic impact.
