Wow, whoever knew Pirates of the Carribean would amount to a movie? My dad to this day talks about being 7 year old in 1966 and riding ALL the rides. I wish I had proof.

Walt used to say that the beauty of Disneyland was that it would never be finished. He always intended for the park to be updated and expanded. Sure, I miss some of the old attractions, but if they kept everything the same, it would eventually cease being an amusement park and become a museum of nostalgia; what a drag.

Yeah, exactly. This was probably meant to be watched by families, and the sixties were when the baby boomers started having kids. Walt Disney was both a very kind person and a person with extraordinary vision. He contributed much to America, technology, and the world and is missed by many.
