God bless you, Stevie. That man is my rolemodel.
stevie just knew wt …

People always …
People always remember what they were doing when something tragic happens in the world. I remember exactly what was doing when I heard the news that Stevie was killed. It was devastating. I was a metal head then but always loved SRV. I am glad Stevie got sober before he passed. He was our modern day Mozart.
That first bend …
That first bend after each speech he says in this song!! HE reaches deep down in his soul and bends the out that string til it hits the spot!! man! Why’d you have to leave Stevie!? R.I.P. I guess God got tired of his singin angels and decide to replace them with you Stevie! ha!
hell yeah
yeah
He gets that …
He gets that signature sound from the pickups he has, the volume he plays (really blasted), and the guage of the strings he uses. And most of all, the soul he has, just so much passion
@MrCricket0062 AMEN.

There will NEVER be …
There will NEVER be another Stevie…EVER. The man was legendary…unique…one of a kind. I remember when I first heard him perform…I felt as though I were paralyzed…he was the best.
Life without you …
Life without you Stevie Ray has been such a drag.
I, too, started …
I, too, started with metal (still my main style), but Stevie is (not WAS, IS!) the man responsible for my introduction to the blues and allowed me to feel things other than hatred and anger. I can never thank him for it in person, so I do it by constantly listening to everything he’s done.
I´m cryin`. I can …
I´m cryin`. I can still see my thumbpick on Sugar Ray´s gravestone. And my son singing Change It for Stevie. Me and my daughter listening to. At Laurel Land, Dallas.
During SRS”s Soul …
During SRS”s Soul to Soul tour, I paid for 2 “metalheads” to come with me to see Stevie live. They got hooked by this man incredible guitar playing. They returned the favor and paid my way to see Stevie again. IT WAS TRULY AMAZING. Peace.

I remember growing up and my dad was always playing Stevie Ray…. My first tape i got when i was about 8 was stevie ray vaughn and double trouble…. He was an amazing artist. My dad just loved listening to him for hours. And my only brother was named after him, (Stevie Ray Inselman). Now that my brother is older he often jams out to some Stevie Ray and his friends are like, what are you listening to. He always relpies, “The greatest guarist and my name sake.” R.I.P Stevie Ray!!!
